Jewish Indian Stuffed Vegetables (Mahashas)

So, it’s been a while since I’ve shared a recipe with you. Please accept my apologies for the delay. I’ve been dealing with some technological issues (my computer died), a hectic work schedule, school, and my child’s stomach sickness. I’m also fairly pregnant right now and not very quick on my feet… The good news is that I’ve been working on a couple of recipes that I’ll be posting in the coming weeks.

This is a fantastic recipe that I’m sharing with you today. The theme for this month’s Kosher Connection Link Up is “stuffing” (see below). My Aunty Seemah’s Mahashas is my all-time favorite stuffed animal. This is a family recipe for a traditional Jewish Indian meal. Despite the fact that I haven’t had these in years, I have always remembered how tasty they are. I have the recipe to share with you all thanks to a Skype chat with my aunt.
