Gail Joseph, one of our members, spoke about the history of how Jews arrived in India (the origin story), as well as the many Jewish communities in India, Jewish rituals and traditions, including wedding customs such as the Henna ceremony. She also showed some images and talked about the number of synagogues in India and how men and women sit in them.
