Manipur’s ‘lost tribe’ dreams of Israel

A group of men prays in a synagogue in northeast India for the chance to “return home” to a country they have never seen and from which their forefathers departed nearly 3,000 years ago.

“Our forefathers came here and settled. Our homeland is Israel, and we shall one day be reunited with our people “Reuben stated his opinion.
