Malida and the Sustainability of the Small Indian Jewish Community in NYC and the TriState Area

An article titled “Malida and the Sustainability of the Small Indian Jewish Community in NYC and the TriState Area” was commissioned by an editor a few years ago, but it was later vetoed. After that, the editor ghosted me, as many authors do. I’m posting this on this platform because I think you’ll find it intriguing, and I’d like to maintain track of my journalistic work.

I published a two-part piece in Hebrew on two Israeli female cooks who were ruling the food scene in D.C. before the Coronavirus arrived. Although I had previously had articles translated into Hebrew, this was the first time I had written pieces in Hebrew from scratch. It seemed as if I’d come full circle. As the world turned upside down, the pieces were shelved indefinitely, but this is no reflection on the fantastic editor I’m working with. The timing was off, something we couldn’t forecast ahead of time. If you can read and interpret Hebrew, you can locate photos of the articles in my published and mention. In the future, I may post them on this site.
